Speaker of the House Chris Donovan, Rep. Henry Genga, Rep. Jason Rojas, Rep. Tim Larson, Rep. Jack Thompson, and other Democratic lawmakers met with East Hartford High School officials and concerned parents to protest Gov. Rell's proposed cuts to School Based Health Centers.

School Based Health Centers help keep students healthy in school so they can maximize their opportunities for learning. These centers also provide parents with a measure of assurance knowing there are health care professionals in close proximity to their children.
