HARTFORD REP. GONZALEZ HELPS GRANT CANCER STRICKEN
LITTLE LEAGUER'S DREAM TO VISIT FENWAY PARK

Representative Minnie Gonzalez (D-Hartford), Ryan Marketing, the DATTCO Bus Company, and Jean Cronin of Hughes & Cronin of Middletown, collaborated to grant David Alejandro of Hartford his dream to visit Fenway Park.

"I would like to thank Jean Cronin, Ryan Marketing and DATTCO for making this dream a reality for David," Rep. Gonzalez said. "We began this effort to secure a game ticket for David, but now he able to go with many of his friends."

Alejandro, now 15, was stricken with cancer and is currently undergoing chemotherapy. The Roberto Clemente Little League Association approached Representative Gonzalez to ask for assistance for David, a former Roberto Clemente Little League Player whose wish is to see the Boston Red Sox.

Through fundraising and the gracious assistance of DATTCO and Ryan Marketing, David was able to travel to Massachusetts today along with former teammates and chaperones to watch the Red Sox play against the Chicago White Sox.
