WINDHAM ENERGIZED BY GREEN AWARD
Rep. Johnson Welcomes "Bright Idea" Grant for Windham

State Rep. Susan Johnson announced today that Windham was among 23 municipalities that received grants to continue their work to support the states march toward energy efficiency. State Representative Susan Johnson (D-Windham) was joined by other town leaders to accept the “Bright Idea” grant of $10,000 from Clean Energy Communities, a program administered through Energize Connecticut.

Rep. Johnson said, “I am proud to see Windham recognized for its leadership in pursuing energy efficiency initiatives. Today's grant is simply one more example of our community's commitment to saving taxpayer money and improving our quality of life.”
