REPRESENTATIVE RYAN HONORED BY CONNECTICUT OPTOMETRISTS

State Rep. Kevin Ryan was recently honored by the Connecticut Association of Optometrists (CAO) for his strong support of children's vision issues and programs. Citing him during their Jan. 16 semi-annual business meeting in Rocky Hill, the group presented Rep. Ryan with the honor.

"Connecticut's citizens owe a deep debt of gratitude to Rep. Ryan for all his leadership in ensuring that state government provides effective vision care programs to children and families in Connecticut," said Don Higgins, O.D., President of CAO.

"I am deeply honored to receive this recognition from the CAO," Rep. Ryan said. "I will continue to work in Hartford with the best interests of children's vision and health always in mind."

Representative Kevin Ryan is currently serving his 8th term and represents the 139th Assembly District of Bozrah, Franklin, Lebanon and Montville, he serves as the Chairman of the Labor Committee and is a member of Appropriations and Public Health as well.
