LEBANON & MONTVILLE PROJECTS APPROVED BY STATE

"I am pleased that the Bond Commission approved this funding," said Rep. Ryan. "I want to thank Governor Rell and my legislative colleagues for their strong support for this program."

Lebanon will receive $250,885 for the construction of the Alden Tavern Parking lot to provide additional parking lots to promote tourism. Montville is getting $200,000 for the renovation of the former Fair Oaks School building into a community center.

Rep. Ryan added, "This funding comes at a time when our towns could really use it, and I am delighted we were able to get the state to help out on these important projects."

Kevin Ryan represents the towns of Bozrah, Franklin, Lebanon and Montville in the 139th District. He is House chair of the Labor and Public Employees Committee.
