STATE LAWMAKERS ANNOUNCE FUNDING FOR BERKELEY-WARNER PARK
State Rep. Larry B. Butler (D-Waterbury) and Speaker of the House Jim Amann announced today at Berkeley-Warner Park a $125,000 state grant to replace the playground equipment.
"When I first decided to run for state rep two years ago, I decided that I would make securing these funds a top priority," Rep. Butler said. "After working with Speaker Amann, I'm glad to see this vision become a reality. It's a great accomplishment to see this project approved."
"Rep. Butler is a tireless advocate for his district and he made a great case for the state helping out at Berkeley-Warner Park," Speaker Amann said. "It is important that children have a safe place to enjoy the outdoors and play with other kids. I'm proud that we are able to help make this project a reality for the community."
