REP. LARRY BUTLER AND REP. VICTOR CUEVAS ANNOUNCE FUNDING
FOR PROGRAMS IN WATERBURY

State Rep. Victor Cuevas and State Rep. Larry B. Butler are pleased to announce the Legislature included over $360,000 for six important Waterbury community organizations in legislation that implements the state budget, Bill 6706.

“These funds will help provide after school programs, mentoring programs, and other programs for the children in our community. These organizations will help our children grow in a positive way versus not having anything to do and getting in trouble!” Rep. Butler said.

“These organizations provide indispensable services in the city and is a cost-effective investment in the overall quality of life in Waterbury,” Rep. Cuevas said.

Each of the following organizations will receive $60,000 grants:

Butler represents Waterbury’s 72nd Assembly District and chairs the Housing Committee. He also serves on the Finance, Revenue and Bonding Committee and the Human Services Committee.
