Hartford - Waterbury legislators are pleased to announce the approval by the State Bond Commission today of various items in the City of Waterbury totaling over $7.6 million.
“These are the results of a delegation that works together for the betterment of Waterbury,” Rep. Cuevas said. “I thank Governor Malloy and look forward to working with my colleagues on future projects.”
“Governor Malloy has proven time and time again he has the best interests of the City of Waterbury in mind,” Rep. Berger said. “These funding items will go a long way toward improving available programs and easing the congestion on I-84”
“Helping our non-profit and social service providers with capital improvements benefits our state in the long run. The help they provide to our most vulnerable assist the state and taxpayers in a substantial way,” Rep. Butler said. “I also look forward to the next phase of I-84 expansion through Waterbury, thanks to these transportation funds.”
