State Representative Larry B. Butler received the Outstanding Elected Official award from the Connecticut Public Housing Resident Network (PHRN) at an event recently held in Wallingford.
"I am very pleased and humbled with this award," said Rep. Butler. "Being involved with PHRN has meant a great deal to me. The residents are so dedicated which inspires me at the Capitol."
Rep. Butler received the PHRN award for his work as House Chairman of the Housing Committee and for his continued on-going support of the only state-wide resident-led organization in Connecticut.
The Connecticut Public Housing Resident Network is a statewide organization of public housing residents committed to providing a voice for public housing residents in the decisions that affect their lives and their communities at the local, state and federal levels.
