REP. JUAN CANDELARIA RECEIVES PERFECT RATING
FROM ENVIRONMENTAL GROUP
The Connecticut League of Conservation Voters (CTLCV) awarded State Representative Juan Candelaria a 100 percent rating for his support and advocacy of environmental initiatives in their 2012 Environmental Scorecard.
“I am committed to do what I can to secure a healthier environment that we can all enjoy with our children, family and friends,” Candelaria stated. “I am honored to be in a position to help make a difference. I will continue to work diligently to support legislation that has a positive impact on the environment.”
The annual environmental scorecard grades state lawmakers based on how they vote on significant environmental legislation. This year the scorecard grades legislators' votes on 15 bills that came up during the 2012 legislative session.
Formed in 1998, the bipartisan CTLCV works on laws that affect Connecticut's air, water, wildlife, open space, transportation, energy choices, and health.
