REP. DILLON RECOGNIZED BY STATE DEPARTMENT OF MENTAL HEALTH

Representative Patricia Dillon (D-New Haven) has been honored by Region 2 of the state Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (DMHAS) for her work to protect KidCare and secure funding for Safe Haven.

KidCare is the state’s comprehensive mental health initiative for children. Safe Haven is a New Haven home for homeless individuals struggling with chronic mental illness, drug addiction and/or HIV.

Representative Dillon was first elected to the General Assembly in 1984. She is Deputy Majority Whip and serves on the Public Health, Appropriations and Judiciary Committees. Rep. Dillon chairs the Health and Hospitals Subcommittee on Appropriations.
