STATEMENT OF REP. GODFREY ON DANBURY RECEIVING INCREASED STATE FUNDING FOR EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION
58 New Pre-K Seats Will Be Available This Fall

State Representative Bob Godfrey released the following statement on Danbury receiving funding for an additional 58 pre-K School Readiness seats:

“School readiness is a proven means of improving the educational success for young children,” said Rep. Bob Godfrey. “I’ve seen it work with in Danbury with great success since we created the program and am happy to see it expand to include even more children and reduce the waiting list for these important services.”

Bob Godfrey is the State Representative for the 110th Assembly District from Danbury. He currently serves as Deputy Speaker and is a member of the Judiciary, Government Administration & Elections, and Legislative Management committees.
