The Connecticut League of Conservation Voters (CTLCV) awarded State Representative Greg Haddad a 100 percent rating for his support and advocacy of environmental initiatives in their 2013 Environmental Scorecard.
“I am honored to receive such a high rating from the League. Connecticut continues to set a positive example for the rest of the country on important environmental policies thanks to the hard work of great groups like the League of Conservation Voters,” said Haddad. “I am proud to have supported so many important bills to help protect the environment, including GMO labeling, open space and clean water funding, coastal management, water management, pesticide notification and mattress recycling.”
The CTLV annual environmental scorecard grades state lawmakers based on how they voted on significant environmental legislation that came up during the 2013 legislative session.
Formed in 1998, the bipartisan CTLCV works on laws that affect Connecticut's air, water, wildlife, open space, transportation, energy choices, and health.
