REP. HADDAD EARNS 100% VOTING RECORD FOR 2015 SESSION

Rep. Haddad was one of only a handful of legislators with a perfect individual voting record for the 2015 legislative session.

According to the Clerk of the House, Rep. Haddad cast his vote all 379 times that the House of Representatives was called to a vote.

“The people of Mansfield elected me to be their voice in the General Assembly and this year I did not miss a single opportunity to make sure that their voice was heard. I am proud of my voting record this session and grateful for the honor of representing Mansfield in the House Chamber,” remarked Rep. Haddad.

Although Rep. Haddad cast nearly 400 votes this session, he remains particularly proud of voting in favor of establishing the nation’s first Student Loan Bill of Rights and legislation encouraging the use of free open-source textbooks at UConn. Haddad also worked hard to support PILOT reform that will bring additional funding to Mansfield to help pay for schools and services and hold down property taxes.

“Rep. Haddad always works hard to ensure that his community’s voice is heard, which includes always being on the record when votes are taken at the Capitol,” said House Majority Leader Joe Aresimowicz (D-Berlin/Southington). “Mansfield is fortunate to have such as strong voice in Rep. Haddad advocating on their behalf in Hartford.”
