The Connecticut Department of Labor (Career Express Van) will be available all day (9:00 am to 3:30 pm) in the Parking Lot of the Wallingford Public Library. The Career Express Van is equipped with Department of Labor staff, computers and internet access to assist those in job search strategies, interviewing techniques, resume writing and critique and job exploration.
"This is a perfect opportunity to evaluate your skills and explore careers that are available today," Rep. Mushinsky said. "I encourage everyone who is interested in exploring new employment options to come join us."
Charter Oak Community College will have a guest speaker available during the evening (6:00 to 8:00 pm) at the Wallingford Town Hall to provide information about the college, education for career switching and to address concerns and answer questions from the public.
