REP. ROBERT SANCHEZ RECEIVES PERFECT RATING
FROM ENVIRONMENTAL GROUP
CT League of Conservation Voters Gives Sanchez 100% on Annual Scorecard

The Connecticut League of Conservation Voters (CTLCV) awarded State Representative Bobby Sanchez (D-New Britain) a 100 percent rating for his support and advocacy of environmental initiatives in their 2012 Environmental Scorecard.

“I am honored to be able to positively contribute to a healthier environment through my work in the legislature,” Sanchez said. “It is important and our responsibility to do what we can to help preserve and our natural resources for generations to come.”

The annual environmental scorecard grades state lawmakers based on how they vote on significant environmental legislation. This year the scorecard grades legislators' votes on 15 bills that came up during the 2012 legislative session.

Formed in 1998, the bipartisan CTLCV works on laws that affect Connecticut's air, water, wildlife, open space, transportation, energy choices, and health.
