Representative Johnson announced the State Bond Commission’s approval of funds for improvements at Windham Technical High School in Windham at the Commission’s November 19th meeting. The school is expected to receive $942,993 from a pair of items on the agenda.
“I am happy Governor Malloy is continuing the effort to improve Windham schools and have a positive impact on the education gap,” Rep. Johnson said. “I know these funds will be put to good use for the benefit of our students.”
Windham Technical High School will receive funding for the purchase and installation of new and replacement equipment at Technical High School Facilities as part of the Manufacturing Cluster expansion. They will also receive funding for emergency and minor capital improvement projects as needed.
