As the Director of Anti-Blight and Illegal Dumping in Bridgeport, Rep. Rosario has been a staunch supporter of anti-blight legislation since beginning his legislative service. House Bill 6653, includes several provisions and directives that will serve to further the work to diminish blight in the state.
“I am pleased yet another measure has passed the House that will help with the anti-blight efforts across the state. This is another step forward for cities like Bridgeport that suffer from many blighted and abandoned properties and properties in violation of blight laws. I look forward to seeing this bill pass the Senate and ultimately get signed by Governor Malloy.”
