State Educational Resource Center:
SERC is a nonprofit agency primarily funded by the Connecticut State Department of Education. Literacy Volunteers of Greater New Haven:
Literacy Volunteers of Greater New Haven is a non-profit educational organization that trains and supports volunteer tutors who provide free literacy tutoring for adults who need to improve their reading, writing, and oral communication skills. Both Basic Literacy tutoring and English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) is offered.
