IN-STATE TUITION BILL HELPS WALLINGFORD STUDENTS
Shortly after the passage of the In-State Tuition Bill, Rep. Mary Mushinsky tells the story of promising young Wallingford students who would be denied an education if not for this legislation. The bill grants in-state tuition rates to undocumented Connecticut high school students who have been accepted to in-state colleges. There is no fiscal impact to the state and all participating students must also begin the process of becoming documented state citizens.
