The East Hartford legislative delegation of state Sen. Gary D. LeBeau and Reps. Michael A. Christ, Henry Genga and Christopher R. Stone today announced that the Finance, Revenue and Bonding Committee approved a Fiscal Year 2007 legislative bonding package includes $51 million for two East Hartford projects: $45 million for infrastructure and avian mitigation at Rentschler Field, and $6 million for expansion or relocation at Goodwin College. HENRY GENGA IS SWORN INTO HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES AFTER WINNING 10TH ASSEMBLY DISTRICT’S SPECIAL ELECTION
State Representative Henry Genga was sworn in today, February 1st, to represent the Connecticut General Assembly’s 10th Assembly District, comprised of East Hartford. Rep. Genga fills the seat by special election after Rep. Melody Currey was elected Mayor of East Hartford in November. Rep. Genga will serve out the remainder of Currey’s term, which expires at the end of the year. READ MORE
